Dr. Fong, you need to learn the concept of ethics and credibility in online journalism. The Dogman is EVIL and trying to sell anything that mentions him will only turn your readers against you.

Osiris,

Your claim that Dogman is evil is complete speculation. The truth of the matter is that we do not know enough about him (or perhaps ever her) to make any real character judgments. In fact, after examining the historical record, Dogman appears to be mostly nonviolent in terms of his relations with humans. Dr. Fong is doing a service to the cryptozoological communinty by raising awareness of the Dogman, hopefully spurring further research and investigation. The good doctor should be thanked for his efforts. He does not need to be reminded of the importance of ethics and credibility; his work speaks for itself.

Juan! It is good to see you back! Thanks for the kind words. I agree, Dogman is something that needs to be studied. There just isn't enough information to decide on his intentions. I think the worst he has ever done is scream at someone. Sure he has scared people, but anything mysterious scares people these days. Anyway...good to hear from you! I hope you will stick around so that we can all be enlightened by your particular brand of mountain wisom.

Ok Don Juan the Chamula, you must not pay close attention to the blog. I have encountered the Dogman, I don't need speculation. During an outing in the Michigan wilderness to collect rare moss samples, a team consisting of five bioligists and I were viciously attacked by that creature. I watched in terror as all five of them were ripped to pieces. I shot it 10 times with a 30-06 rifle at close range, but it had almost no effect. Don't even try to tell me I don't know enough about that thing to make character judgements.

I know Dr. Fong is cutting you in on the profits from the sale of his Dogman crap, that's fine, but I know all I need to know about Dogman.

Ive lived in northern michigan my whole life, White Cloud to be exact, and having been here ive heard of many sightings of the Dog Man. the knowledge of these sightings has lead me to believe that Osiris is full to the brim with crap.

the worst thing the Dog Man has ever done is chased people, and he does this only for a short distance. Besides if five biologists were ripped apart out in the woods and you were the only the survivor the police would suspect you and it would be all over the news. also what were you doing with a 30'06 with you collecting moss? and the whole shooting ten rounds into the Dog Man with 30'06 is a load of bull for two reasons, 1. you wouldnt have time to shoot ten rounds out of a 30'06 before it would round on you and kill you as you say it was trying to do, 30'06 dont come with ten round clips, you cant get ten round clips for them. 2. you wouldnt be able to hit him. maybe shoot at him but not hit him especially at close range. youd be too shakey and hunting rifles are very bad with close range.

The Dog Man is nothing more then a spiritthat lives to protect nature, like the Windigo. itd take more then moss to provoke it. People mistake melevolence for evil too oftenly. as far as the shirts go, I plan on buying one maybe two, sounds like an awesome idea.

Does anyone know or remember the Dogman song. An old 60's, maybe early 70's song about the Dogman coming around every so often. Well does anybody know the group or name of the Song? Would love to get a copy of it. Haven't heard it in years.

Thanks
John
